We headed up for an early morning stroll through the blossoms on Sunday morning. It was cooler and more overcast than we would have liked - but still breathtaking and an official start to spring. Here Nick was teaching Alison how to throw pebbles in the water. We opted to keep her in the stroller since there's no barrier to keep her from running into the water. The tidal basin was high this weekend. A friend lent us their digital SLR so I got some great pics. Click here to check them out on my other blog.

the gal looks darling in her pinky pink hat to match the blossoms! i like that nick was teaching her how to through pebbles. soon they'll be skipping rocks together. nice.
As my sister in law would say - everything pink rocks! So her hat and pretty blossoms both rock! So does her jacket. And 90% of her wardrobe!
I checked out all your pictureson your other site. How beautiful! Alison is so cute. Don't you love helping them discover things (like blossoming trees and throwing pebbles) for the first time?
yes, it is so much fun! She's constantly inspecting everything around her, she is a busy-little-body. I wouldn't have it any other way!
