I'm so glad it's nicer out. This was a pre-bedtime play on the deck-time. And actually a shot of them together!

Alison put her baby in her sweater so she was carrying her around like she was in a baby bjorn. Clever!

I actually got some pictures of them together! They were sitting on Nick's bag at the meeting site for the group that deployed today. More to come, but I thought this sequence was funny.

Andrew's the Mommy

When I saw this I had to grab the camera - it was so cute and funny!

Alison likes to play where she's the mommy and I'm the sister. I guess Andrew wants in on that too.

**I took this before Nick got home. They don't miss him now - but we all will in another week or so. Booo.

Alison's debut

Alison was assigned the scripture and prayer in Primary today. She did an excellent job! The video was taken from the back of the room so it's a little noisy - but you can turn it up to hear her. I like how she got louder and more confident as she went on! What a champ - I don't think I've ever been as calm and collected as she was. It's a little long - but wanted Daddy and Grandma Suzie to get to see it.

Good goals to have. I'm going to work on the house of order part tomorrow.

somebody's missing

I have a couple of kids missing their daddy! Alison had a meltdown today when I got after her about something and she started crying, "I want my daddy!!!" over and over again. Let's just say, I'm the less strict of the two of us, so it wouldn't make sense for her to want him to come rescue her. She just misses him. This is the first trip he's taken where she asks everyday, "Is Daddy coming home today?"

Andrew has his own way of showing it. Like randomly yelling out "DaDA!!" usually when he's in his highchair.

ski and apres-ski

We finally got some snow. This was at 7:45 am on Monday morning when things really started to pick up.

We all got bundled up.

Went for a little hike.

Ate a little snow.

Did a little sledding.

Ate some more snow.

And went back to the lodge to lounge in our apres-ski wear.

I finally finished Alison's duvet cover. It turned out really cute and she loves it! And now she has covers to sleep under. I couldn't get her to sleep under a blanket before this.
